The picture i like the best is the one of shannon looking at her phone. The light is coming from the left side of her body and i believe it is high, but angled down towards her. Most of Shannon's face is lit up but on the right side, its darker and i think that's why i like this picture so much. It shows the contrast of the light and shadows. I like how i took this picture of her because she isn't paying attention and is looking at her phone instead of trying to pose for the picture. Shannon isn't fully faced forward but is turned to the side a little bit. I took this picture horizontally and i think i was also sitting in a chair. I wasnt that close to Shannon but i did zoom in on her to get the picture like that. I think the lighting expresses the mood of this picture. The contrast of the light and dark makes you think "Oh, Whats going on" or " What is she doing," "Is this text good or bad" because shes focusing on the phone but not really smiling that much. This picture expresses shannon concentrating on her phone. Comparing Shannon's picture to Chris's, the lighting makes the pictures look very different. In Chris's, he wouldn't smile so the dark lighting kind of fits the mood of his picture while Shannon's, there is a contrast of light and dark and it makes you wonder what is really happening in that moment.
